The Best High Schools in Augusta
U.S. News & World Report has compiled a list of the best high schools in the Augusta area.
They rate high schools based on standards in certain areas such as:
- College Readiness
- Math and Reading Proficiency/Performance
- Graduation Rate
- Student Performance
- College Curriculum Breadth
The main list includes public, private, charter and magnet schools. And because this is for the Augusta area, it does include a couple of South Carolina schools as well.
Coming in first place: Davidson Magnet School. They are ranked #1 in the Augusta area, and third in the state of Georgia. Nationally, the school is ranked #120. They have a 100% graduation rate and ranked 72.7 on the college readiness scale.
