Here’s more about Cowboy & Abigail at the Aiken County Animal Shelter
Look at these two, meet Cowboy & Abigail. They’re brother and sister. They’re Pyradors – a much sought after blend of ¾ Great Pyrenees and ¼ Lab. They’re very special young dogs that don’t belong in the shelter.

They’re a year old, and their lives so far have been working livestock on a farm. Loving and social, they can be molded into family pets with training, or kept as working dogs. Their yards and spaces must be fenced.
Now, they aren’t bonded, they would do fine in separate homes. They get along well with other animals of all species.
Cowboy weighs 88lbs., and Abigail weighs 69 lbs. They’ve never been on leashes, inside a house, or housetrained.
They’re spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm-negative.
Their adoption fee is $35 each.
The Aiken County Animal Shelter is located at 333 Wire Rd., Aiken, SC.
E-mail, info@fotasaiken.org to meet Luna.
Walk-Ins are welcomed from 11am-4pm Monday through Saturday.
The shelter is full, as it always is. If you can’t provide a loving home for Cowboy and Abigail, they need you to pass this along so they can find one.
