Fort Eisenhower Bowling Alley Holds Grand Re-Opening For The Public With Free Perks And Giveaways
The renovated Five Star Lanes bowling alley is officially OPEN!
Fort Eisenhower has a newly renovated bowling alley, Five Star Lanes, formerly Gordon Lanes Bowling Center.
The grand re-opening consisted of door prizes for the first 50 guests. There was free bowling, free bowling shoes, free appetizers to try, and even cocktail samples.
The new alley will include new games at every lane, bingo, Kegler’s Café, Heroes Bar, the Pro Shop, birthday party rooms, and, of course, bowling!
Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, Columbia County GA Chamber of Commerce, and the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce were in attendance at the grand re-opening.
The perks don’t just stop there for the new alley. Saturday, April 27 Five Star Lanes will be hosting a Pizza Bowl. It is 15$ a person and comes with 2 slices of Dominio’s pizza, a soda, and 2 games of bowling and shoe rental. They will also be hosting another Pizza Bowl in the fall on August 10.
Starting in May, Five Star Lanes has a special for our AIT service members. Every weekend, after the 1st and the 15th, they will get an hour of bowling (shoe rental included) for just $7.50! Students must show their phase badge to receive the offer.
Along with that, they will be starting up their summer leagues. This will take place each Saturday starting June 1 – August 10 at 10 am. There will be three-person teams ages 3-17. For more information on the summer league please call 706-791-3446.
