Miyako and Rockin’ Crab Are Now Open Under One Roof In Grovetown – This Is How It Works
Do you want hibachi or seafood? Well, now you don’t even have to choose.
Miyako Sushi and Steak House and Rockin’ Crab Seafood & Bar are two new businesses that just opened in Grovetown. But get this, the businesses are combined under one roof.
Miyako Hibachi Sushi & Steakhouse specializes in a variety of Japanese dishes such as hibachi steak, chicken, and shrimp, which come with soup, a salad, vegetables, and either fried rice or lo mein noodles, as well as sushi. Rockin’ Crab Seafood & Bar specializes in seafood boils.
I know we’re all curious about how this is going to work. I spoke with Teneasha Taylor of VistColumbiaCounty, who recently took a visit, to help me understand how it worked!
Are you able to order both types of food at once?
You can order from both menus at once!
Are the menus combined?
They are combined, so all food arrives at the same time.
Do they still have tables where they can cook in front of you?
Yes, the tables are still located in the back for the food to be cooked in front of you!
Miyako and Rockin Crab’s first Augusta locations are located on Washington Road. Those original locations aren’t under one roof, but they are located less than a few yards from each other.
Combined restaurants are such an interesting concept that have been around for a while. But this combined restaurant is a little different since you can order food from both restaurants at once!
You will sometimes find restaurants under the same roof when the same person or corporation owns restaurants. For example, Yum! Brands is an American multinational fast food corporation that owns the brands KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell, and The Habit Burger Grill.
There have been several occasions where I’ve seen a combined Taco Bell and KFC or a combined Long John Silvers and Pizza Hut.
Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’ are two other businesses I often see under the same roof.
So if you’re with a group of people and one person is craving sushi and everybody else is craving a seafood boil, you know where you might need to eat at!
