AR Workshop Evans Announces Final Closing Date
AR Workshop in Evans announced this morning via social media that they will be closing at the end of May.
AR Workshop Evans has been in the area for five years. The last date that they will be open for business is Friday, May 31, 2024.

Once the doors close for good, there will be one last AR Workshop left in the CSRA. AR Workshop North Augusta is located at 434 Georgia Ave #104, North Augusta, SC 29841.
AR Workshop Evans Experience
If you haven’t got the chance to take a trip to the AR Workshop in Evans, it is a treat – especially if you like arts and crafts. I got a chance to attend their Chunky Knit Blanket Workshop. I love a good blanket!
When you think of making a chunky knit blanket from scratch, with no experience, it can seem intimidating at first! I took the class with my mom and we both were hesitant about how we were going to make this blanket happen. Luckily, at AR Workshop they break it down to the most beginner steps.
After about an Hour, I was almost done and on my last color block, which was grey!
The way the workshop worked is when you arrived you were able to pick from the yarn wall 6 different colors. For me, I chose grey, crème, and pink to go with my bedroom décor.
Different colors of yarn to choose from to make your chunky knit blanket! These are just a few.
Once you’ve got your colors you bring them back to your work station. The setting was very relaxed at the workshop! You are also able to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages.
See! We are getting somewhere. A 2-hour class for a blanket that will last a lifetime!
The blankets we made were a very nice size – 40″ x 50″
The blanket is bigger than me!! ( and super comfy.)
