One of Two Home Invasion Suspects Shot by Homeowner in Grovetown
Graniteville Teenager Shot and Killed in Aiken Monday Night
Grovetown Public Safety officials say a homeowner shot one of two suspects during what was believed to be an attempted home invasion early this morning.
Police were called to the 9000 block of Battle Court off Harlem-Grovetown Road around 4:30 a.m.
They found one male in the back yard with multiple gunshot wounds. Authorities say he was taken to Doctors Hospital where he was expected to undergo surgery. His condition was not given. At last word, the second suspect was still at-large.
Police said they had received reports that two people were banging on doors in the area just prior to the report of the shooting.
An investigation is underway. No word on pending charges yet.
