Man Charged with Second Bank Robbery
An Aiken man who was charged last week in connection with an armed robbery at Peach State Federal Credit Union in Beech Island has been linked to a second holdup.
The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office says 27-year-old James Antonio Frazier was arrested February 9 in connection with the credit union robbery February 2. Today, investigators say Frazier has been linked to the September 2022 robbery at Security Federal Bank in Warrenville.
Witnesses said the suspect had a handgun when he demanded money from an employee, then left the scene in a Dodge Charger.
Frazier faces additional charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, and possession of a weapon during the violent crime in connection with the Security Federal Bank holdup.
