Sheriff’s Office Assists in Capture of Ohio Fugitive in Evans
The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office assisted the U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force in capturing a man here who was wanted for murder in Ohio.
According to a post on the Sheriff’s Office Facebook page this morning, authorities arrested David Hardin at a home on Commons Drive in Evans Thursday night.
Hardin is accused of shooting two people, leaving one juvenile dead.
The U.S. Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force asked the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office for assistance in apprehending Hardin, once they got a tip he was in Evans.
