Ft. Gordon Cyber Center Employee Accused of Sexual Exploitation of Children
A Columbia County man was arrested earlier this week on one count of sexual exploitation of children after an investigation into his online activity.
Forty-eight-year-old Robert Collins III, who is employed by the Cyber Center of Excellence at Fort Gordon, was taken into custody February 8 at his home on Arden Way.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the alleged incident occurred February 2. Collins is accused of uploading child sexual abuse material to an electronic device. A search warrant was served at Collins’ home February 8 and he was taken into custody without incident. Collins has been charged with one felony count of sexual exploitation of children. He’s being held at the Columbia County Detention Center.
