UPDATE: Man Wanted for Rape in Richmond County Has Been Found
Richmond County authorities have found a man who was wanted for an alleged rape that was reported Sunday at a local motel.
Thirty-five-year-old Phillip Maurice Ryans was named a suspect in the alleged rape at the Scottish Inn in the 1600 block of Gordon Highway. Investigators had issued a “be on the lookout for” report earlier this morning, but say Ryans was found this morning and is now in custody.
No other information has been released yet.
