Two Killed in Warren County Mining Accident
Two Piedmont Mining employees were killed in an accident at the company’s location in Wrens this morning.
The Warren County Coroner’s office has identified the victims as 24-year-old Charquavian Bloodsaw and 25-year-old Damian Ashberry, both of Tennille, Georgia.
Initial reports indicate the men were electrocuted while operating an industrial dump truck.
Company officials say the Federal Mine Safety and Health Administration is investigating the cause of the accident.
