Meet North Augusta’s New Head Football Coach – Matt Quinn
Coach Quinn graduated from Byrnes High School (2006) and was an All-State WR and Shrine Bowl Player. At Byrnes, Quinn was a part of 4 State Championship teams from 2002-2005. Quinn spent 1 season at Vanderbilt University as the starting long snapper. He later transferred to Presbyterian College and was a 3-year starter for the Blue Hose at WR. Quinn was named to the All-Big South Conference team in 2009. He also holds a master’s degree in Sports Administration from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Quinn has coached for 10 years with the last 5 years spent serving as a head football coach. Matt Quinn is married to Meighan (Goins) and they have 2 daughters, Mattie and Marleigh!

“Cody” Blaine Jackson is one half of the Kicks Wake Up Krew on Kicks 99, and also serves as the Digital Program Director for Beasley Media Group in Augusta. She’s a Georgia native but currently resides just across the river in South Carolina. She started in the radio industry as a part-time board operator, and moved up through various roles, including on-air positions and program director for multiple stations. Her passions include fitness and anything to do with animals, as she has two fur babies, her dogs Harley and Waylon. Cody likes to write about pets, fitness and Augusta local events.
