20/20 Sports With A.B. – Braves Win, NFL Kicks Off Tonight, And More
In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about the Braves win against Colorado, NFL kicks off tonight, and the WNBA playoffs.
Ashley Brown: None of the Braves jumped out early on the Rockies last night. Jared Kelenic, the big blow a three-run homer in the first. Atlanta beats Colorado 5 to 2. Those two teams are back at it tonight at Truist Park at 7:20.
Also in baseball, Shota Imanaga, the starting pitcher for the Cubs, went seven shutout innings, no hits allowed. Then two relievers came in and also didn’t allow a hit. That’s a no hitter combined with three pitchers as the Cubs beat the Pirates 12 to nothing.
In the NFL, we kick it off tonight. Football. That’s right. Baltimore at Kansas City, the defending champion Chiefs are favored by three. That kicks off at 8:20.
And in the WNBA, the Indiana Fever locked up a playoff spot. They started the season 1 in 8, but since the Olympics, they won seven of eight. Caitlyn Clark had her second triple-double of the season with 24 points, ten boards, ten assists. They beat the LA Sparks 93 86 last night.
