Fort Eisenhower offers an Automated Installation Entry or, ‘AIE’ which is as easy as scanning the back of your driver’s license at the gate. Of course, you have to apply for the access in advance, but it’s a simple answering of a few questions on your smartphone. You can easily get a day or annual access which will have you in the gate in a matter of seconds.
Fort Eisenhower Has Super Fun Activities For Everyone
Of course, we all know that their Independence Day celebration is unparalleled. But, if you haven’t been on post in a while, you’ll notice that there are quite a few changes going on. Yes, Fort Eisenhower is growing and has a lot to offer!
The recently updated Five Star Lanes is open to the public with great prices and very nice lanes. The attached Heroes Sports Bar is spacious, comfortable and frequently has entertainment options including live DJs, trivia, and more. If you have an event to host, Eisenhower Conference and Catering has rooms of many sizes and can fit pretty much any need.
Fort Eisenhower also has a beautiful golf course: Eisenhower Lakes, where the original 18 holes were designed by world-renowned golf course architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. Rental clubs, pull carts, electric carts, and a well-stocked pro shop are all on hand and available to civilians and military personnel alike. They even host golf classes and, you guessed it, it’s available to everyone. The attached Bogey’ Grill is delicious, a real hidden gem, and has quick lunch service.
Fort Eisenhower’s Outdoor Pool and Spray Park is great for kids on a hot summer day. Hilltop Riding Stable is available for horse lovers with horse riding lessons and 250 acres of trails. Fort Eisenhower also has lakefront activities and camping options.
