Miss Memories Matter Pageant 2024

This year will be the second annual pageant and will encompass three areas of competition:

  • Introduction - In this portion of the competition, contestants wear white to symbolize the first survivor of Alzheimer's Disease. They will also hold the awareness flower that correlates to them (blue = suffering from Alzheimer's or dementia, yellow = caregiver, orange = supporter of the cause or purple = lost someone to Alzheimer's or dementia).
  • Awareness Wear - For this part of the competition, contestants dress in a creative outfit that symbolizes Alzheimer's and dementia awareness. Also in this portion, for the older age groups (Teen and Miss), they will answer an on-stage question related to the mission.
  • Evening Gown - This will be a chance for the contestants to wear a formal gown.

The pageant is open to ages 3 to 19, with 5 age group divisions: Toddler Miss (ages 3-5), Petite Miss (ages 6-10), Junior Miss (ages 11-13), Teen Miss (ages 14-16), and Miss (ages 17-19).

Each contestant must register for the "Miss Memories Matter" team for the Walk To End Alzheimer's in Augusta, GA. This will be one of other appearances and community service events the contestants will be asked to take part in related to the cause.

The contestants will be raising funds for the Walk To End Alzheimer's and the fundraising will go through December 31, 2024.
