New Fast Food Restaurant May Be Coming To The Augusta Area

It seems new places are popping up every single day. The Augusta area has seen so much growth in recent years, and it doesn't seem to be slowing anytime soon. And now, there may be a fast food restaurant called Jack in the Box coming to Augusta.

According to Verdict Food Service, franchiser Jack in the Box is planning to expand their restaurants into Georgia. There are currently none of these franchises in the state. But a newly signed development agreement has the brand establishing 15 new restaurants across Georgia.

Currently, the site of the restaurants has not been established, but the company wants to focus strategically on growing markets, including Augusta, Macon, and Savannah.

Each location of the chain's restaurant in Georgia will offer dine-in, drive-through, and online ordering via mobile.

While the company has plans for the 15 openings across Georgia, they are also looking for franchise partners to further help them expand in the state and other markets.

Jack in the Box is a quick-service restaurant known for its burgers, chicken sandwiches, tacos, milkshakes, breakfast items, and late-night snacking options. The chain has one of the largest variety of menu options in the fast food restaurant business. And they serve their full menu all day, everyday, so you can have a burger for breakfast, or breakfast for dinner. Many of their locations are open 18 to 24 hours a day.

Jack in the Box, Inc. was established in 1951 in San Diego, California. They pride themselves on being "the place for thsoe who live outside the box." They are one of the nation's top fast food burger chains who believe in letting you try new things and order what you want, when you want it.

The franchise is headquartered in San Diego, California, and currently operates and franchises 2,200 restaurants across 22 states, primarily on the West Coast. The company also encompasses Del Taco, the Mexican American quick-service restaurant chain. Del Taco has 600 restaurants across 16 states.

The company is planning to continue expansion across the southeastern United States, and have recently announced plans to expand in Florida, opening 15 new franchise locations, with 10 in Orlando, and 5 in Tallahassee.

I am on the hunt for the Best Burgers in the Augusta Area! A good hamburger or cheeseburger is always one of my favorite meals. Of course, it all begins with the meat, but the bun, toppings, and some extras make a good burger a great burger.  Everyone loves them! Even health-conscious Tim McGraw loves a good burger.

As many of you know, I grew up in the restaurant business. My parents owned a few restaurants, and burgers were our biggest sellers, which is still the case today in many places. One of Georgia's best hamburger joints is actually a gas station in Dunwoody. It's NFA Burger and I may have to try this one soon.

Sports Bar downtown Augusta. A really cool place with lots of friendly people. Another one of my favorites. Take cash, though, no debit cards here!

Known for their seafood and super relaxed atmosphere, but their burger is off the chain!

Chili always makes a burger better. You won't leave here grumpy!

We know they have "the best steaks known to man", but their burgers are awesome, too!
