Boston is headed to the NBA finals. They sweep the Eastern Conference finals, beating Indiana last night 105 to 102. They now await the winner of the Dallas Minnesota series, the Mavericks, up three games to none, and they host Minnesota for game four tonight.
In the NHL, it was Dallas over Edmonton 5 to 3 last night. They lead that series in the Western Conference finals two games to one. In the East finals, New York is up two games to one. They play at Florida tonight for game four. They drop the puck at 4:00.
And in the basketball world lost one of the all-time greats, Bill Walton passed away at the age of 71. The former announcer was also an outstanding player, considered by many to be the best college player of all time. He also won, the NBA’s MVP in the 78/77, 78 season, but his season was cut. His career was cut short in the NBA due to injury. 20/20 Sports brought to you by Escape Electric Bikes – They sell fun. I’m Ashley Brown, 95.1 WGAC.
