20/20 Sports With A.B. – Week 2 of NFL, Monday Night Football, and More
In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks week 2 of NFL, Monday Night Football, the Braves, and Georgia’s close call against Kentucky on Saturday.
Ashley Brown: Well, the star of the day yesterday on week two of the NFL was Alvin Kamara. The Georgia native scored four touchdowns as the Saints hammered the Cowboys 44 to 19. Elsewhere, it was Carolina falling to the Chargers, 26 to 3. The Panthers 0 and two and they’ve been outscored 73 to 13. Not a good start of the season for them.
Tonight in Monday Night Football, it’s the Falcons trying to get their first win of the year. They play at Philadelphia where the Eagles are a five-and-a-half point favorite.
In baseball, the Braves and Dodgers tied at two going into the ninth inning. But L.A. scored seven runs in the ninth. They beat Atlanta 9 to 2. Those two teams wrap up their four-game series tonight in Atlanta. First pitch 7:20. Max Freed is on the mound for the Braves.
In college football, Georgia survived a scare in Lexington, beating Kentucky 13 to 12. Texas hammered their opponent the University of Texas San Antonio 56 to 7. And the poll is flip-flopped. Texas now number one, Georgia now number two.
