20/20 Sports With A.B. – Former Georgia Bulldog And NFL Hall Of Famer Terrell Davis Handcuffed
In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about former Georgia Bulldog and NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Davis being handcuffed and taken off a plane, and the All-Star Game coming up tonight.
Ashley Brown: Well, former Georgia Bulldog and NFL Hall of Famer Terrell Davis says he was unjustly handcuffed and taken off a plane recently. United Airways flight from Denver to Orange County. The 51 year old says he was with his wife and three kids when his son asked a flight attendant for a cup of ice. Either the flight attendant didn’t hear him or ignored him.
Davis said he lightly tapped on the shoulder of the flight attendant, to which the flight attendant, turned around and was not pleased and said, “Don’t hit me.” Davis says he was stunned, as were the passengers around him, and he thought nothing of the incident.
But when the plane landed, six FBI agents and local police boarded the plane and put him in handcuffs and took him off the plane in front of his family.
In baseball, Teoscar Hernandez is your winner of the Home Run Derby. He beat Bobby Witt Junior in the final. Tonight it’s the All-Star Game. The National League will start Paul Skenes on the mound. Corbin Burnes of the Orioles starts for the American League.
