He has had four straight three-hit games, including last night, where he homered, doubled, and tripled as Kansas City beat Arizona 10 to 4. He has four straight three-hit games. The all-time record is held by another Kansas City Royal, George Brett, who had six straight three-hit games back in 1976.
In other baseball news, Hunter Green seven innings of two-hit ball as he leads the Reds past the Braves 4 to 1. Cincinnati with the victory and the Braves now with their third straight loss. Those two teams are back at it tonight in Atlanta at 7:40.
The GreenJackets, after a night off, are on the road at Myrtle Beach, taking on the Pelicans in minor league action.
And in the NBA Summer League, it was Miami beating Memphis 120 to 118, in overtime to win the title of the NBA Summer League. Pelle Larsson had the game-winning runner at the buzzer of the Heat. He was their second-round pick this past draft.
