20/20 Sports With A.B. – PGA Tour Championship in Atlanta, Braves Win Against Twins, and More
In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about the PGA Tour Championship at a revamped East Lake in Atlanta, plus the Braves win over Minnesota, and the GreenJackets last homestand.
Ashley Brown: A day away from the start of the PGA Tour Championship at a revamped East Lake in Atlanta. Big money up for grabs. These are the top 30 players left. 30th is guaranteed $550,000. The winner, though, of the FedEx Cup points title, gets 25 million. Second place over 12 million. Third place over 7.5. So a big, big chance for a lot of golfers there. Scottie Scheffler the favorite. He’ll tee off at 2:00 with Xander Schauffele tomorrow afternoon.
The Braves score four runs in the top of the 10th and hold on to beat the Twins 8 to 6 in extra innings. The Braves have now won five of six. They will play on the road at Minnesota again tonight at 7:20. And the GreenJackets fall at home to Columbia 6 to 5. Those two teams are back at it tonight at SRP Park at 7:05.
