In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about Davis Thompson winning at the John Deere Classic, the GreenJackets prepping to take on Fayetteville this week, and the National League All-Star Team.
Ashley Brown: Well, what a week for Davis Thompson at the John Deere Classic. He shot rounds of 63-67, 62-64 to win by four shots at 28 under to pick up the win on the PGA tour this week.
The Augusta GreenJackets off today. They will host Fayetteville for a series at SRP Park beginning tomorrow night at 7:05. Also, the Braves winners yesterday over the Phillies. The Braves hit four home runs in the first six innings. And Renaldo Lopez had another great start as the Braves win six nothing. Atlanta at Arizona tonight at 9:40.
And also three Atlanta Braves players named to the National League All-Star team. Chris Sale, Reynaldo Lopez, and Marcell Ozuna will represent the National League. 32 first time all-stars this year will play in the game, including pitching sensation Paul Skenes of the Pirates, who’s made just ten big league starts, but he is on the National League roster.

Ashley Brown, or A.B. as he’s known, is a sports commentator, columnist, and broadcast veteran. He was born and raised in the Augusta area. A.B. attended Lakeside High School and graduated in 1989. After high school, he attended Columbus State University on a basketball scholarship.
