20/20 Sports With A.B. – GreenJackets Win Over Charleston, Braves vs Pirates, and More
In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about the GreenJackets win over Charleston, the Braves loss to Pittsburgh, and the latest golf news.
Ashley Brown: Well, Atlanta Braves standout right-hander Ian Anderson making a rehab start for the GreenJackets yesterday. He was solid for three innings, allowing just one hit, no earned runs, and setting the stage for a GreenJacket two nothing victory over Charleston. The GreenJackets begin a series in Columbia against the Fireflies tonight.
Braves a 4 to 2 loser to the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Atlanta was trying to get a three-game sweep in that series. The Braves will host the San Francisco Giants for a series after a day off today, that series gets underway tomorrow.
In golf, Cam Davis wins in Detroit. He picks up $2.5 million, a one-shot victory for him. Akshay Bhatia, who had not missed a putt inside six feet all week, missed a four-footer on the 18th hole for par that would have given him forced to play off. Instead, he finishes in a tie for second place.
And the Indiana Fever rallied from 15 down in the second half to beat Phoenix in the WNBA, 88 to 82. Caitlin Clark 15 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds.
