20/20 Sports With A.B. – NBA Draft Picks, Braves vs Cardinals, and More
In today’s 20/20 Sports with A.B., he talks about the NBA Draft picks, the Braves win over the Cardinals, the GreenJackets, and the PGA tour in Detroit.
Ashley Brown: The Atlanta Hawks had the top pick in last night’s NBA draft. Atlanta went with 6’9 Frenchman Zaccharie Risacher with the top pick and the number two selection going to Washington. They took another Frenchman, big man Alex Sarr. Houston took freshman sensation Reed Sheppard of Kentucky. And with the number four pick, Covington, Georgia native Stephon Castle, who won a national title last year as a freshman with UConn.
In baseball action, Jared Kelenic of Big Game in game one of the doubleheader between the Braves and Cardinals, he led Atlanta to a 6 to 2 win. The nightcap, though, goes to Saint Louis, 4 to 1. The final there. The Braves quick turnaround for them. They travel to Chicago for a 4:10 first pitch this afternoon.
Rickie Fowler won the Rocket Mortgage Classic last year, and he’s in the lineup this year as the PGA tour plays in Detroit for round one today. And the GreenJackets fall last night to Charleston at SRP Park 9 to 6.
