Georgia Remains No. 1 in the latest AP Top 25 College Football Poll released on Sunday. The Bulldogs improved to 11-0 with a 16-6 win on the road against Kentucky.

Coach Kirby Smart knew the SEC stretch in November would be tough, according to dawgnation.com. “We knew this gauntlet was coming, and our guys put their heads down and worked really hard,” Smart said of the stretch of conference games against Florida, Tennessee, Mississippi State and Kentucky. “I am proud of what they’ve done.”

Ohio State, Michigan, and TCU also remained unbeaten on Saturday and held their positions in the Top 4. One of the biggest drops was 5th ranked Tennessee who is now No. 9 after a 63-38 loss at South Carolina.

The other major upset involved Georgia’s next opponent, Georgia Tech. The Yellow Jackets beat No. 13 North Carolina 21-17 on the road on Saturday.

The Dawgs lead the rivalry 69-39-5 and have won the last 7. Last year’s 45-0 win was the largest margin of victory in the history of the series. November 26, 2016 was the last time Georgia Tech won. The final was 28-27 in Athens.

Kickoff Saturday is at 12:00 p.m. at Sanford Stadium. You can listen to the game on WGAC 95.1 FM/AM580, on the free App, and wgac.com. Coverage begins at 8:00 a.m.
