Georgia remains No. 1. in the AP Top 25 College Football Poll. The Bulldogs scored early and often in a 48-7 route against South Carolina in Columbia on Saturday.

The Dawgs have dominated opponents, outscoring the first three teams 130-10. The only touchdown given up was against the Gamecocks with less than a minute remaining. The defense didn’t have any starters on the field.

Coach Kirby Smart praised told Dawgnation that the players and culture are what makes things happen.

“They’ve kind of bought into ‘this is who we are, this is how we’re going to do things.’ It’s just kind of the way we do them,” Smart said. “They sell that to each other. They sell it to the younger players so that we don’t have to. If you do that you can get better but please don’t mistake that for thinking that we have the best practices in the world. We have not always had the best practices in the world, our kids believe in practice paying off for the game though.”

Georgia will host Kent State on Saturday for a Noon kickoff. WGAC’s Game day coverage begins Saturday morning at 8:00.
