Human Dog Bed Available At Costco Might Be My Next Unnecessary Purchase
If I’m being honest, my bed is a human dog bed. I joke all the time about how it’s my dogs’ bed, they just let me sleep in it. Kind of like how my house is really theirs, I just pay for it. But now there’s a true human dog bed available at Costco. And while I don’t NEED it… It looks like something I would definitely use.
Dog Beds
Dog beds come in all different shapes, sizes, and materials. Some are more fluffy, while others are simply an oversized pillow. Personally, my dogs don’t have dog beds, only because they sleep in mine every night. They also seem to prefer the couch versus laying in the floor during the day. In the past, I had gotten my Lab some dog beds, which ultimately he wound up destroying. And when my newest pup came along, we tried a dog bed in his crate, but after he destroyed it, we gave up.
But think about the nicest dog bed you’ve ever seen. Looks pretty cozy doesn’t it? Seeing a dog snuggled up in a nice, warm bed sure does look comfortable. Have you ever wished you could snooze like that? Introducing Plufl, the human dog bed!
Plufl – The Human Dog Bed
Plufl, the company behind the ORIGINAL human dog bed, gained attention when they were featured on Shark Tank back in October 2023. The creators Yuki Kinoshita and Noah Silverman were requesting $200,000 for 10 percent of their business. They wound up with a deal for $200,000 for 20 percent of their business with sharks Mark Cuban and Lori Greiner.
And now, their human dog bed is available at Costco. I’m not sure if it’s available at the Augusta Costco, but I’ll have to check when I am there this weekend. If nothing else, you can always order one from the company’s website.
This human dog bed looks incredibly comfortable. There are actually two sizes as well. A standard, which looks to be big enough for one person; and an extra large that’s big enough for two. It’s also available in four different colors. Currently, the standard size will cost you $299, and the extra large can be purchased for $399.
The website says to “prepare for an out-of-the-world napping experience.” When it comes to my naps, I typically just sleep in my recliner at home, but this human dog bed might be an even better experience. I have a feeling my two pups would be joining me in it too.
The human dog bed is machine washable and features a 360-degree pillow bolster, an ultra-soft cover, and an orthopedic and memory foam base. Another plus? It folds in half for easy storage and transport.
I would love to have one of these, but honestly can’t see myself paying $300-$400 for one. But if you do, I’d love to hear what you think. They do have a 30-day money-back guarantee from the date of delivery, plus a 1-year warranty for any defects. Overall, those who have purchased it seem to love it. It’s got 4.9 out of 5 stars based on almost 600 reviews.
