Each weekend there are endless events that take place in the CSRA. Some are even reoccurring each weekend.  You’ve worked all week waiting for the weekend to come, just to do nothing. Finding things to do in Augusta isn’t impossible. What you decide to do can make a difference in your whole weekend.

If this is a chill weekend, where you’re staying home, fine! But if you are somebody who wants to do something and just brushes it off with the famous line “there is nothing to do in Augusta” – we’ve got you covered.

Here are a few things to do this weekend.

  • Garden City Festival

    Today, April 21, one of the top 20 festivals in Georgia kicks-off. The festival will be held at Sacred Heart over two days. Throughout the weekend there are tons of events scheduled such as garden tours, engaging speakers, and even a tea time. Check out the full schedule here.

  • Augusta Craft Beer Festival

    One of largest outdoor festivals will be taking place at SRP Park. This event will feature more than 30 breweries with over 100 craft beer selections to try. There will also be food, music, and games. For more info check here.

  • Earth Day Festivities

    There will be tons of activities going on this Saturday for Earth Day. Here is a detailed list of these events.

  • Million Dollar Time Machine

    Ever wish you could go back in time and hear an artist live? Maybe it’s Bon Jovi or Michael Jackson -well this might be your chance! Take a blast into the past with this  concert at the Miller Theater that will take you on the ultimate travel experience and feature impersonators from all around the world. Check out more here.

  • Spring Wine Festival

    Wine down this weekend at the Evans Towne Center Park. The event will include vendors, food trucks, entertainment, oh and wine! Check out more here.

  • Quickies

    This annual short play festival will take place at Le Chat Noir, which is a blackbox theatre in downtown Augusta. The show will featuring original scripts by local writers. Check out more here.

  • Beer4Good Festival

    It’s all in the name. American Legion Post 194 will be raising Band Booster Foods with a little help from some beer. There will be vendors, food, and live entertainment. This years  festival headliner is Ray Fulcher. Check out more here.

  • Taste of North Augusta

    Specials will be offered from 15 featured restaurants in downtown North Augusta, for you to experience. Check out the full list of participants here.
