It’s college football rivalry week in Georgia and South Carolina. Records usually don’t matter. It comes down to bragging rights for a year. It’s no surprise that Georgia and Clemson are both favored in their games against Georgia Tech and South Carolina. For Yellowjacket and Gamecock fans one thing they may have is a little more momentum verses the past couple of years.

Georgia and Georgia Tech will play in Athens on Saturday at Noon. While the Dawgs are heavily favored, Georgia Tech is coming of their biggest win of the season against a ranked North Carolina team that will be playing for the ACC Championship against Clemson on December 5.

Clemson will play South Carolina on Saturday in Death Valley. It’s also a Noon kickoff. The Gamecocks are riding a wave of emotion and media hype after blowing out Tennessee last weekend.

WGAC is your home for the Dawgs in Augusta. Coverage begins Saturday at 8:00 a.m. on 95.1 FM/AM 580, on the free WGAC App, and wgac.com

You can hear the Clemson-South Carolina on our sister station, Sunny 102.7

Both of these games will impact the College Football Playoff rankings if Georgia Tech or South Carolina can pull out upsets 2 weeks in a row. They are not the only big games on Saturday. Check out the rivalry games below for this weekend.
