A lot of good things can happen with another win on Sunday night against the Mets. In addition to a 3 game sweep at home this time around, the Atlanta Braves can extend their lead to 2 games over the Mets in the National League East. They can win their 100th game of the season.

Dansby Swanson and Matt Olson helped lead the charge in wins on Friday and Saturday. Home runs have part of the formula for winning 99 games this season.  239 home runs is a National League best this season.

Swanson share some thoughts with mlb.com on why sports have been important to him.

“I grew up in a sports family, like I was always on a field or on a basketball court my entire life, even probably from times I can’t remember, when I was in a stroller, being dragged around everywhere,” Swanson said. “I do feel like God made me for certain things, and I do think [being able to deliver in the clutch] is one of them. I’m so thankful for it.”

If the Braves win their 100th game on Sunday, they will also win the 10th again against the Mets this season and win the series. They will wrap up the regular season at home against the Miami Marlins with a 3 game series that starts on Monday.
