Happy New Year! Georgia Bulldogs Rally To Beat Ohio State 42-41
The Georgia Bulldogs advance to the CFP Championship Game for the second consecutive year. Despite being down by 14 points to start the 4th quarter, the Bulldogs rallied to win 42-41.
Stetson Bennett connected with Adonai Mitchell on a 10 yard touchdown pass to put the Dawgs up for good with 1:42 in the game. Ohio State missed a game winning field goal with less than a minute to go.
According to dawgnation.com, it’s the first time in College Football Playoff history that a team has come from two touchdowns down to win. “Every one of those guys in that locker room believed,” Kirby Smart said “I’m so proud of these guys, they never quit, they never said die.”
Georgia will play TCU in the CFP National Championship on Monday, January 9th at 7:30pm.
