    Mary Liz, from WGAC, remembers her Christmas mornings as a kid. She said: “My mom would get hot chocolate ready for us and make sure Santa had been there.  Meanwhile…my dad kept us upstairs and we weren’t even allowed  to sneak a peek until they said “go.”  We carried that tradition on with our children and I still love it!”

    Blaine, from HD 98.3, remembers as a kid each Christmas Eve reading the Christmas story from the Bible with her family to remember the reason for the season!

  • Hot Dogs and Chili

    Tee Gentry from Kicks 99 remembers Christmas Eve with his grandparents before they passed away.  His grandmother would make hot dogs with homemade chili.  He says, “The best hot dogs ever!”

    Precious memories for sure.

    Blaine, from HD 98.3, remembers driving through looking at Christmas lights with her family as a kid.  There was a place called Christmas Lane near her hometown.  It was so magical, they would even have talking and moving displays and a lot of holiday music too!

    Now that she’s grown, she likes to take her pups to look at Christmas lights!

  • Candy Canes

    Chris O’Kelley, from Kicks 99, shared a special holiday memory. He says: “We made these candy canes back in the 70s from pipe cleaners. My brothers, sisters, and I made them.  They were on our family tree since we made them.  My mother gave them to me before she passed and since then, they have been on every tree I’ve had for 14 years.
