Austin talks about insults by a comedian at the Trump rally and Joe Biden calling Trump supporters “garbage.”

Austin: All right. Those of you keeping score on the outrage scorecards. We’ve had some big movement to keep, keep, keep very close or pay very close attention here. Keep track of all this.

So we’re supposed to be completely outraged and just utterly disgusted because some third rate comedian insulted Puerto Ricans and Hispanics at a Trump rally and as a result, abandoned all of our political agenda and sensibilities to to punish Trump and save the nation from Puerto Rican insults. Okay. All right.

Thank goodness gracious Joe Biden showed up last night. President Biden evened the playing field. My goodness gracious. The outrage. We’re all square now because he referred to Trump supporters as garbage. Okay, that’s good. Hey, what’s fair is fair, right? So we’re garbage. Puerto Ricans are terrible people, according to Tony Hinchcliffe, whoever the hell that is. So now we’re all even, right?

Now we can get back to voting our political conscience and our political agenda and our political sensibilities. And we can do away with this revenge boycott of a candidate because someone peripherally connected to a rally made some ridiculous statement.

Folks, grow up, vote for who you want to vote for based on their politics and policy. Don’t let anything else sway you, particularly in this atmosphere where you can’t you can’t track tone. You can’t track context, you can’t track accuracy.

What you can track is no doubt the political agendas of both these candidates. You either like one or you don’t like the one period. Vote your conscience. Don’t let anything else bother you. Stick to your politics every time. And that’s the comment. I’m Austin Rhodes 95.1 FM News Talk WGAC.
