There is a lot in store for the CSRA community this weekend. From Arts in the Heart to Border Bash, and more! It’s like this weekend has the potential to be a great one! When it comes to a great weekend, great is different for every person.

What’s a great weekend to you?

Before we give you some ideas and plans that are going on in the CSRA, let’s see what can make a weekend “great” for you.

Set yourself a challenge

During the work week, you often have work goals or challenges. When you fall into a routine sometimes it may become a sense of boredom.

If your normal routine is just hanging around the house, watching the weekend go by, create a challenge for yourself to try something new. Whether that’s creating plans, picking up a new hobby, or even going outdoors.

Get outside

Now this is a case-by-case basis, here in Georgia and South Carolina we have some high temperatures, and the only thing you might feel like doing is staying inside!

While it is the middle of September, we may get a few of those “feel-good days”. You know the ones that are feeling good because fall is near and then the next day it’s back to scorching high temperatures.

If the weather is on your side, get to some of these weekend events that take place outdoors. Or start the day off with a morning walk or run or anything else you can think of!

Make sure you time

While filling up your weekend with plans and events can be a great weekend, it can also be tiring. Being constantly surrounded by people and activities can make you feel burnt out by the end of the day. So, try to set some time aside throughout the day to check in with yourself.

Make plans
