11:45 A.M. At approximately 11:20 A.M., an official statement from Fort Eisenhower confirmed that this morning's lockdown was initiated due to an active shooter. According to the statement, a person was shot and killed in on-post housing. The victim's has not yet been identified. The shooter has been apprehended. 9:55 A.M. An all-clear message has now been released at Fort Eisenhower: ALL CLEAR! ALL CLEAR! The dangerous event has passed. All personnel can resume normal operations at this time. ALL CLEAR! ALL CLEAR! END OF MESSAGE Message Issued by Fort Eisenhower Installation Operations Center 9:45 A.M. A facility lockdown was initiated at approximately 10:50 A.M. at Fort Eisenhower. A message went out across official social media platforms, issued by Fort Eisenhower’s Emergency Operation Center (EOC). The message reads as follows: LOCK DOWN! LOCK DOWN! EXECUTE LOCK DOWN PROCEDURES ON THE INSTALLATION IMMEDIATELY! IF YOU ARE IN DANGER TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION! LOCK DOWN! LOCK DOWN!
