Super Regionals, College Softball, and More – 20/20 Sports With A.B.
Ashley Brown: Well, last night the final five spots locked up in the Super Regionals in college baseball. Evansville becomes the first four seed to advance. They will take on Tennessee. UConn also advances. They will play Florida State. Virginia and Kansas State will do battle.
Also, North Carolina wins last night. They’ll take on West Virginia. Texas A&M and Oregon are in. Florida a winner yesterday over Oklahoma State. They move on to play Clemson. Georgia will take on NC State and Kentucky will take on Oregon State. Those are best of three series in the Super Regional. Gets started on Friday. The eight winners will go to Omaha for the College World Series.
Also in the College Softball World Series Texas a four nothing win over Stanford. Teagan Cavin, a one-hitter. Texas trying to win their first national title ever. They’re in the championship series. They’ll take on the winner of tonight’s matchup between Oklahoma and Florida.

Ashley Brown, or A.B. as he’s known, is a sports commentator, columnist, and broadcast veteran. He was born and raised in the Augusta area. A.B. attended Lakeside High School and graduated in 1989. After high school, he attended Columbus State University on a basketball scholarship.
A.B. moved back to Augusta after college, where he began his career in talk radio. He continues to provide sports updates for WGAC, while also working as the Director of Customer Service at recteq.
