A man who resides in an Aiken apartment building was struck by lightning today.

According to Fox 54, dispatchers received a call for help shortly after 1:30 p.m.

The call for help came from a apartment unit on Carriage Drive.

Details regarding the man's condition are limited at this time, however, a person who witnessed first responders treating the man said the man was conscious and speaking to medics about the ordeal.
