Fatal Accident Victim in Aiken County Identified
A single vehicle accident December 12 in Aiken County claimed the life of a Georgia woman hours later.
The accident was reported last Thursday at 9:41 pm in the eastbound lanes of I-20 near the 10-mile marker in Aiken County.
The driver was taken to Wellstar MCG and died the following day as a result of massive injuries.
Fatal Accident Victim From Georgia
Aiken County Coroner Darryl Ables says 75-year-old Lorene Craig of Ellenwood, Georgia lost control of her vehicle, it left the road and struck a tree.
Craig was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
The Coroner’s Office along with the South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the cause of the accident.
