Homeless Pedestrian Hit Two Weeks Ago Downtown

Today's deadly accident involving a homeless pedestrian was the second in a little more than two weeks.

The Richmond County Coroner's Office was called to Wellstar MCG November 16, shortly after a person was hit by a vehicle in a hit-and-run incident at 10th and Greene Streets.

The victim was identified two days later as 61-year-old Vincent Depirro.

He was pronounced dead at the emergency room at Wellstar MCG shortly after arrival.

An autopsy was performed.

So far, there have been no arrests in the case.
