Columbia County Events Happening For The Month Of May

It's a new month, and we've got an empty calendar to fill! Here are the Columbia County May events that may interest you and your family.

May 4: Evans Market

The Evans Market runs from 9 am - 1 pm. The newly built market space will be filled with local vendors, artisans, and food.

May 4: Family Fitness Day

A day filled with fitness and wellness at Gateway Park for their annual FAMILY FITNESS DAY. Everybody is welcome for a day of activities that will exercise both your mind and body.

There will also be food trucks, a drum circle, face painting, balloon animals, and fairy hair. Plus, get ready to break a sweat with free instructional workout classes from various fitness clubs on site.

May 11: Evans Market

Another Evans Market! The Evans Market will happen each Saturday for this spring season.

May 11: Fiesta Fest

Fiesta Fest at the Columbia County Amphitheater in Evans, GA! The feista will run from 5 PM to 9 PM. The festival will be filled with tacos, margaritas, and live music. You will also get a chance to vote for your favorites in the taco competition.

Get your dance on to the sounds of a live mariachi band from 5 PM to 9 PM and test your skills on the pinatas.

**May 11: Georgia Beef Bash - Bonus Event! Now this is not hosted by the Columbia County Parks, Recreation, and Events. This is the first annual Beef Bash - a celebration of Georgia Beef. This will take place from 4p – 7p at the all-new Evans Market. Each food truck will be serving its original dishes featuring Georgia Beef. 

May 16: Barks in the Park

Barks in the Park is from 6 PM to 8 PM at The Market! Bring your furry companions and enjoy a night of fun activities designed just for them.
