Most Popular Easter Candy In Georgia And South Carolina

Easter is this Sunday. It's a day that's often filled with family, friends, food, and CANDY! And, there are many candies that are only available during the Easter season. It's not surprising that a recent Harris Poll found that 92% of Americans who celebrate Easter plan to buy Easter candy. So, when it comes to our favorite... what is the most popular Easter candy in Georgia and South Carolina?

A recent Instacart survey found Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs to be the most popular candy in both Georgia and South Carolina. But we aren't alone!  In fact, 29 total states chose these peanut butter eggs as their favorite.

Maybe you're buying some candy simply to enjoy yourself.  Or maybe you have Easter baskets to fill or eggs to hide... Either way, make sure you have some Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs on hand! Of course, you'll want to have some other favorites too... so we'll take a look at the top 5 favorite candies according to Instacart's survey!

It's pretty easy to see that most of our picks for favorite Easter candy are chocolate.  But there are a few non-chocolate options in there too.

While some surveys call these the worst Easter candy... according to this Instacart survey, it comes in at number 5 on the list of seasonal candies sold by Instacart!

Is it really Easter if you don't have a chocolate bunny? This one came in at number 4 in the survey!

The only non-chocolate item in the top 5!  And it came it at number 3.

The Kinder Chocolate Candy Egg with a surprise toy inside made the list at number 2. But these are eggs you can get throughout the year... you don't have to wait for Easter!

Reese's knows how to do candy right!  Their peanut butter cups are enjoyed by many each day... and when their holiday shaped come out, it's no exception.  Even though the holiday-themed candies taste slightly different than the traditional peanut butter cup, there's no denying we still love them!
