Grubhub’s Most Delivered Food of 2022

This is the time of year when many companies are looking back at the year.  They take a look at what worked, and what didn't.  It's pretty interesting to see what's resonated most with their customers.  And Grubhub, a popular food delivery service, is no different.  They looked at ordering trends and eating habits to put together their report called 2022 Delivered. So, can you guess what Grubhub's most delivered food of 2022 was?

Boneless wings round out the top 10 list of most popular orders with Grubhub.  We're kind of surprised it didn't rank higher with their popularity for sporting events!

This popular curried dish is made with boneless chicken, ground spices, onions, tomatoes, cream and herbs.

Surprisingly, a Caesar Salad made the list for popular Grubhub orders this year!

Who doesn't love a good fried chicken sandwich?  Especially here in the South!

This inside out sushi roll came in at number 6 on the list.

The chicken quesadilla may be 5th overall and for top lunch orders, but it's number 1 in top late-night orders!

This stir-fry dish with noodles, eggs, veggies, and choice of protein was pretty popular this year too. Although it didn't make it onto the top 5 for lunch orders or late night orders.

Cheese pizza is another popular choice for many.  For top lunch orders, it came in at number 4. As for late night orders, it ranked at number 5.

You can't go wrong with a delicious cheeseburger being delivered to your door.  This one is number 2 overall, and on top lunch orders.  It came in at number 3 on the top late-night orders.

There's a sense of comfort with the beloved burrito. Layered with delicious goodness, and delivered to so many doorsteps in 2022. Whether it was a traditional burrito, or burrito bowl, Grubhubbers were loving them... More than 4 million were ordered and delivered this year!  In fact, the burrito was number 8 last year.  That's quite a jump!
