Best Romantic Getaways for 2023 – Georgia And South Carolina Cities On The List

We're just over a month away from Valentine's Day. And maybe you're already making plans.  On top of the holiday, perhaps the winter months have you itching to get away for a bit.  It's always nice to take a break from the day-to-day stress and enjoy some downtime with the person you love. And U.S. News Travel has compiled its list of best romantic getaways in the USA for 2023.  When it comes to Georgia and South Carolina, there's a city in each state on U.S. New Travel's top 15 list.

The South Carolina city on the list cracked the top 10, coming in at number 6 on the list.  And maybe you're not surprised to find out that it's Charleston!  With pastel historic homes, art galleries, and many great food options, this is a beautiful town close by to check out for a great romantic getaway.  Plus, to add to it, there are harbor cruises, horse-drawn carriage rides, and nearby beaches too!

Landing just outside of the top 10, we have the Georgia city on the list: Savannah! A beautiful historic town that's nearby with great shopping, dining, and nightlife options.  And there are beaches close by as well. Definitely a romantic city with so much to choose from.
