There are two stops I recommend. One is in town, the other a few miles off 78 on Highway 3.
Miller’s Breadbasket – Amish/Mennonite Home Cooking
God’s Healing Springs – If you like COLD water and history this is worth the visit. Bring a cooler and get in line!
God's Acre Healing Springs, Blackville, South Carolina
Blackville, South Carolina Every road trip needs a rest stop for refreshment -- and you probably won't find a better one than God's Acre Healing Springs, where the beverage is not only tasty, but free. And healing. The Healing Springs earned their reputation during the Revolutionary War.
Jim Harrison Gallery – Stop in and check out some of his original paintings as well as prints from Mr. Harrison’s more than thirty-year career as an artist. It’s easy to find on South Main Street
The Churn- This place has been around since I was a kid! The best for lunch or dessert!
World Grits Festival- I took these a few years ago when we visited the parade. Rolling in the grits get REAL in St. George!
