House of X and Power of X serve as a full on reboot for the X-Men in the current canon of the Marvel Comics. The two arcs play hand in hand to one another serving to elevate mutants and mutant-kind into a new dynamic that is reminiscent of stories told before, but also unique in how it sets up for stories we’ve never seen before.
