We have been told many hundreds of Masters patrons were questioned by security teams at Augusta National last week as they attempted to enter the grounds. Apparently the club was cracking down on the pervasive, but contractually forbidden, third party ticket brokers that have made tickets to the yearly event skyrocket in value on the secondary market.
Scott Friedman is a Cleveland based ticket broker, who also hosts a popular podcast dedicated to the profession called Ticket Talk. Scott has been particularly critical of the ANGC’s stand on this issue. He joined me Tuesday to discuss…and dropped a bit of a bombshell…that you may not believe. I know I did not!
