The City of Seattle has raised the bar for “Progressive” taxes with a new Sugar Tax that, as much as, doubles the cost of sweetened drinks!
Meanwhile the State of Georgia is talking special legislative sessions to lower or waive taxes to entice Amazon to locate a new corporate headquarters within the state.
Two different approaches… which is more likely to entice new residents and new business?
