Augusta Music Festival Debuts With Star-Studded Lineup and Songwriting Workshops
The Augusta Music and Songwriter Festival will bring two days of performances and workshops to downtown Augusta on May 15-16.

The Augusta Music and Songwriter Festival will bring two days of performances and workshops to downtown Augusta on May 15-16. Shows happen at the Downtown Depot Lot near the Fifth Street Bridge by the Savannah River.
Growing Augusta will present it with the Greater Augusta Arts Council and Destination Augusta. Big K.R.I.T., Shawn Mullins, Anthony David, Angie Aparo, Trap Jazz, Elli Perry, Travis Shaw, AE the Cool, Muz Mercer, and Judge Wood will perform.
Performers will play songs spanning R&B, jazz, gospel, rock, alternative, and hip-hop. Workshops and artist talks about the songwriting process will also fill the two-day schedule.
Attendees can watch performances while learning how musicians create their songs. The workshops give fans a behind-the-scenes look at how artists write and develop music.
