Chipotle Opens Second Augusta Restaurant With Drive-Thru Lane

Chipotle Mexican Grill opened on Dec. 8 at 2999 Washington Road. This is the second Augusta location and the first with a Chipotlane drive-thru pick-up window. Customers can now grab their online orders without stepping out of their vehicles.

The building sits near the I-20 exit, positioned in front of Outback Steakhouse and FreshTake Grocery. Doors open at 10:45 a.m. and close at 10 p.m. each day.

Augusta now has four Chipotle locations. Georgia has 127 Chipotle spots. The company seeks crew members and kitchen leaders for the Washington Road site, accepting applications from anyone 16 or older for crew positions.

Both roles come with free meals, insurance coverage, tuition assistance, and paid time off. Wage details weren't disclosed.

The menu now includes carne asada as a protein choice. Red chimichurri sauce is also available for a limited time.
