An American Airlines flight that arrived in Augusta this morning from Charlotte Douglas International Airport was evacuated when the plane touched down.

As the plane landed at Augusta Regional Airport, crew members reported a haze inside the aircraft.

Passengers and crew members were immediately evacuated from the aircraft.

Officials at Augusta Regional Airport confirmed that everyone was safe and no injuries were reported.

The airport's fire and rescue crew responded to the scene, but no fire was reported.

The American Airlines flight was scheduled to leave Augusta at 11:00 am, but has since been cancelled.
